Deepwave proudly announces AirStack Core 2.3, the latest operating system release for Deepwave’s AIR-T platform.
Core 2.3 includes four-channel support and expanded FPGA development capabilities for the AIR-T. Additionally, this release incorporates the latest production release of NVIDIA JetPack, enabling more efficient AI inference development, an improved developer workflow experience, and critical security upgrades.
Release Highlights
AirStack Core is the operating system (OS) for Deepwave’s platform. Core includes the runtime and application programming interfaces (APIs) to power high-performance RF AI edge computing. The bundled APIs provide direct AIR-T tuning and control of the SDR, AI models, and custom application development capabilities.
The Core 2.3 release extends the Deepwave platform through the following enhancements:
- Channels. Core 2.3 supports Deepwave’s newest edge platform, the AIR7311. This AIR-T features a 4×4 multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) software defined radio enabled by a high-performance computing edge platform.
- AI Analysis. The AirStack Core OS baseline has been upgraded to NVIDIA JetPack 6.2.1. This update includes enhanced OS stability, security updates, and updates to critical libraries, including cuDNN, CUDA, and TensorRT.
- Developer Support. AirStack Core supports AirStack BitStream, the FPGA application development framework designed to maximize the performance of the AIR-T edge platform. Additionally, Core 2.3 incorporates enhancements from JetPack 6.2.1 to address compatibility and workflow issues with the latest Docker release.
