We’re brimming with excitement about the launch of our updated brand, Deepwave – along with a new web portal, deepwave.ai. This brand shift supports our expanding mission focused on helping customers build the next generation of intelligent radio frequency (RF) systems.
Where We’ve Been, Where We’re Going
Deepwave’s founding team includes RF data, AI, and high-performance computing experts who saw the need to provide easier access to RF intelligence. In 2017, we launched the company to help RF engineers, data scientists, and software product managers overcome this challenge.
To this end, Deepwave pioneered the world’s first NVIDIA GPU-accelerated software-defined radio and brought to market the Artificial Intelligence Radio Transceiver (AIR-T) platform. Deepwave’s AIR-T uses AI at the edge to deliver RF intelligence for low-latency systems of action, such as optimizing 5G/6G networks.
Once Deepwave’s customers had easier access to low-latency RF intelligence, they continued to push boundaries and asked Deepwave to help them build autonomous systems powered by it. Examples of this include spectrum sharing and aeronautical navigation solutions.
Our brand refresh reflects and aligns our expanding capabilities with next-generation intelligent systems. We’re focused on this vision and are creating powerful tools for integrated sensor networks that unlock real-time awareness in the most demanding environments.

Software Portfolio Expansion
At the heart of this evolution is our software platform, AirStack. AirStack has grown beyond a single tool – it’s now a suite of solutions purpose-built for accelerating RF insights. As part of this transition, we’ve expanded the capabilities of two key products:
- AirStack Core – Deepwave’s RF Intelligence Operating System. This software serves as the centerpiece of Deepwave’s platform. It allows the AIR-T to deliver AI-generated RF intelligence through a Linux-based OS, firmware, and GPU/ML driver stack that powers every Deepwave device.
- AirStack Bitstream – AIR-T Application Development for FPGA. Formerly known as AirStack Sandbox, the BitStream product is a development kit for fine-tuning an AIR-T for ultra-low latency RF use cases – where every millisecond counts. BitStream enables advanced FPGA workflows for those who need custom low-latency processing at the edge.
AIR-T Portfolio Expansion
In addition to innovating our software portfolio, we are thrilled to highlight our latest hardware achievement: the AIR-T Flight Series.
The Flight Series platform is designed for the aviation and aerospace sectors. These AIR-T systems bring modern embedded GPU computing, secure deployment tools, and seamless AirStack integration into airborne applications—making true RF autonomy possible in the sky.
This hardware product line launch represents months of hard work by the Deepwave team and close collaboration with our partners to operationalize RF intelligence at scale. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, and I look forward to unveiling more AirStack components and AI-powered RF tools throughout the year.
