The Deepwave Digital team is happy to announce the release of AirStack 0.5.3, a minor release that resolves a few bugs, enables new hardware functionality, and increases performance. This upgrade may be performed in minutes without re-imaging the AIR-T system.
New Features
- Allow for use of the GPS module as an external clock reference on the rugged AIR-T Edge Series.
- Added control of the TX buffer size and reworked TX path for improved performance (see the Continuous Streaming Application Note for more information)
Bug Fixes
- Fixed potential issue where the transceiver would report it is working properly during error states.

The AIR-T upgraded software and firmware are available for customers to download in the Developer Portal (login required).
Please note that upgrading to AirStack 0.5.3 from 0.5.0+ does not require a complete re-flash of the AIR-T. Upgrading from earlier releases does require a re-flash, however. Please see the associated installation procedures for further details.
